Online Professional Development

Online interactions are a promising approach for supporting professional learning for educators, especially in schools and districts that are underserved, have limited resources, or are geographically remote.

The Education Alliance has extensive experience designing and facilitating online interaction that supports knowledge building, whether through year-long asynchronous seminars or 2-hour live webinars. In addition to established offerings such as the Adolescent Literacy Collaboratory, we provide customized design, consultation, and evaluation services to meet local needs. Guiding all of this work is the principle that effective professional learning must lead to improved student achievement.
