Increasing Diversity within the Education Profession

The second conversation of the Collaborative Alliance Network Conversation Series, titled Increasing Diversity within the Education Profession, was held in late September at New York University. This invitation-only event featured a presentation by Dr. Pedro Noguera titled Confronting the Inevitable: How Schools Can Respond to and Embrace the Challenges Posed by Growing Diversity.

Dr. Noguera is a professor at the Steinhardt School of Education at New York University, Executive Director of the Metropolitan Center for Urban Education, and co-Director of the Institute for the study of Globalization and Education in Metropolitan Settings. This conversation is co-sponsored by The Metro Center at New York University, The Education Alliance at Brown University and The Wayland Collegium at Brown University.
