Webinar shares findings from Adolescent Literacy Collaboratory evaluation

On November 18, The Education Alliance hosted a one-hour webinar to share preliminary findings from an evaluation of the Adolescent Literacy Collaboratory funded by the Carnegie Corporation. The evaluation focuses on the impact of this job-embedded professional learning program on teacher practice and student reading performance. School, district, and state administrators and program developers from California, Connecticut, Louisiana, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, and New York joined the webinar to learn more about how the Collaboratory works and what the preliminary findings suggest about similar programs.

A recording of the webinar, with audio and slides, is available on this website.

You can also download a copy of the Powerpoint slide show.

More information about the Collaboratory is available on the Collaboratory's website.
