Developed and maintained by the Center for Applied Linguistics (CAL), Ñandutí connects with foreign language educators and parents through its Web site on early language learning; an interactive listserv for language teachers, teacher trainers and administrators (Ñandu); and training sessions for language professionals. The activities involve teachers, principals, superintendents, parents and university teacher educators throughout the United States.
Initially developed by CAL as a partner in the Northeast and Islands Regional Educational Laboratory, the Ñandutí web site is complemented by Ñandu, a listserv with over 675 active members, and the book Language by Video: An Overview of Foreign Language Instructional Videos for Children.
