Project Summary

Microsoft's Partners in Learning (PiL) contracted with The Education Alliance and a partner to conduct an evaluation of the state of information and communications technology in education in the thirteen reporting countries, and the varying prevalence of different types of PiL activities.

It also looked at the strengths and limitations of each country's evaluation design and methodology and synthesized emerging themes related to PiL, noting common threads across different contexts and highlighting challenges for PiL at both the worldwide and local levels. PiL is an international program funded by Microsoft to support the innovative and creative use of information and communications technology in schools.
