 This publication documents the conference proceedings and speeches given at the 12th and 13th Annual Northeast Superintendents’ Leadership Institutes held in Newport, R.I. in May of 2000 and May of 2001. Topics discussed include strategies for helping the mobile child, the increasing ‘digital divide’ between white students and minority students, using data-driven decision making to fuel reform, and leadership for instructional improvement in today’s schools.
