 This piece provides a brief overview of the challenges principals in the northeast region face, and how the desire to overcome those challenges developed into the Principals’ Leadership Network (PLN). Reports from site visits are grouped according to the three lines of inquiry on which the PLN focuses: the principal as instructional leader, communicating the principal’s complex role in the community, and mentoring for current and aspiring principals.
